We believe there’s huge potential to gain market share: Royal Enfield CEO on setting up assembly operations in Nepal, Bangladesh
In order to increase its worldwide presence, Royal Enfield has revealed plans to open up assembly operations in Bangladesh and Nepal. The business sells middleweight motorcycles between 250 and 750cc in more than 40 different nations.
According to Govindarajan, the business is in the process of establishing assembly factories in Bangladesh and Nepal because it cannot ship its completely constructed bikes from India to these countries due to legal restrictions. These operations will be carried out through local partners.
CEO B Govindarajan told news agency PTI: “We feel there’s a huge potential for Royal Enfield to gain market share more and more in all the markets where we are present.”
