Yamaha Motor India finally launched the Yamaha R3 to the Indian market today. The R3 is priced at Rs 4.64 lakh (ex-showroom).

The R3 has a design that is very similar to the R15. It is completely equipped with twin LED headlights up front and a center intake. The bike weights 169kg and has a 780mm seat height. The bike also has an upside-down fork in front and a monoshock configuration in the back. Discs on both ends with dual-channel ABS handle braking duties.
When it comes to the engine, the R3 is powered by a 321cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 41.4 BHP and 29.6 nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission. In terms of features, the R3 comes with an LCD instrument cluster but has no Bluetooth connectivity.
