Kawasaki W175 Street is available at 1.35 lakh rupees; Check out features
India Kawasaki Motors recently unveiled a variant of its budget-friendly motorcycle, the W175. The Kawasaki W175 Street is priced at Rs.1.35 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs.12,000 cheaper than the regular W175 but with extra features that make it slightly more appealing. The 177 cc air-cooled single-cylinder FI engine remains unchanged.
The engine generates a maximum power output of 13 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed transmission. The motorbike keeps its minimalist features, such as a halogen headlight with chrome bezel and a semi-digital instrument console. The Japanese maker has stated that the cost is introductory and that bookings will open soon.
The date for delivery has been revealed to be this month itself.
The addition of alloy wheels and tubeless tires would provide a sigh of comfort to anyone looking to purchase Kawasaki’s most affordable motorcycle from Kawasaki in India. The tyre sizes remain the same, as indicated by the 80/100-17 front and 100/90-17 rear. The motorbike now comes in two new color schemes: Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Grey.
The Kawasaki W175 Street, which is underpinned by the same semi-double cradle frame, features a seat height of 786.5 mm, ground clearance of 152 mm and an altered wheelbase. Front braking is handled by a 245 mm disc assisted by dual-channel ABS, while suspension is handled by telescopic front forks and twin-sided shock absorbers.
