Honda introduces Honda Shine 100 with Extended 10-year warranty

Honda has recently launched the Honda Shine 100, a commuter bike that comes with an extended warranty of 10 years. This new offering allows customers to extend the standard three-year warranty to a total of 10 years by opting for the additional seven-year warranty option.

Initially, the Shine 100 was released with a warranty of six years, including three years of standard coverage and an additional three years. However, the introduction of a 10-year warranty demonstrates Honda’s immense confidence in their latest commuter bike, bringing joy to prospective buyers.

To further enhance its appeal, Honda has launched the Shine 100 at an exclusive introductory price of ₹62,900 in Rajasthan, UP, and Bihar. This special offer provides a ₹2,000 reduction from the original launch price of ₹64,900 in Maharashtra. As a result, the Shine 100, already known for its competitive pricing, is now even more accessible and affordable in these states.

Equipped with a new 100cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine featuring fuel injection and eSP technology, the Shine 100 aims to deliver improved fuel efficiency. The engine is also compliant with the upcoming BS6 RDE regulations. Notable features include an auto choke system and an externally positioned fuel pump. Generating 7.5 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.05 Nm at 6,000 rpm, the engine delivers a powerful performance.

With a ground clearance of 168mm, the Shine 100 showcases a design reminiscent of the popular Shine 125. It will be available in five attractive color options and boasts a front cowl, blacked-out alloy wheels, an aluminum grab rail, and a stylish muffler. The color choices include Black with Red Stripes, Black with Blue Stripes, Black with Green Stripes, Black with Gold Stripes, and Black with Grey Stripes.
