Hyundai unveils safety features for upcoming Exter SUV, including ‘6-Airbags’ as standard

Hyundai Motor India has recently announced the safety features of its highly anticipated Exter SUV. The company confirms that the Hyundai Exter SYV will come equipped with advanced safety measures, including 6-airbags as a standard feature.

With a total of 26 safety features available across all variants, the Hyundai Exter aims to prioritize safety. Even the entry-level trims (E & S) will offer these features as an option. The micro SUV will be offered in five different trim options, namely EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect.

Among the safety options available on the Exter, Hyundai introduces several first-in-segment features. These include ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), and HAC (Hill Assist Control). Furthermore, the Exter will include 3-Point Seat Belts with seatbelt reminders for all seats, Keyless Entry, ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, ESS, and a Burglar Alarm, among others.

In terms of advanced safety features, the Hyundai Exter will offer a total of 40 features. These include Headlamp Escort function, Auto Headlamps, ISOFIX, Rear Defogger, Rear Parking Camera, and more. Notably, the Exter will introduce segment-first safety features such as a Dashcam with dual cameras, TPMS (Highline), and a Burglar Alarm.

Interested customers can now book the micro SUV by paying a token amount of ₹11,000. Bookings are available through Hyundai dealerships across the country and their official website.

The Hyundai Exter SUV will be available in a variety of color options, including six single-tone and three dual-tone choices, such as Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki.

The Hyundai Exter SUV will offer three powertrain options, including a 1.2L Kappa Petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) with a choice of 5-speed manual transmission (5MT) or Smart Auto AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). Additionally, a 1.2L Bi-fuel Kappa petrol with CNG engine will be available with a 5-speed Manual transmission.
