Hero MotoCorp unveils 2023 Hero XPluse 200 4V motorcycle with advanced features
Hero MotoCorp, one of India’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, has introduced the highly anticipated 2023 Hero XPluse 200 4V motorcycle in the country. This latest offering from Hero MotoCorp is compliant with OBD-II and E20 standards, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability. With a starting price of ₹1.43 lakh (ex-showroom), the Hero XPluse 200 4V is equipped with a powerful 200cc 4 Valve oil-cooled BS-VI engine.
The 2023 Hero XPluse 200 4V is available in two variants: the Base and the Pro. The Base variant is priced at ₹1,43,516, while the Pro variant is priced at ₹1,50,891 (ex-showroom). The Base variant offers color options such as Matte Nexus Blue, Techno Blue, and Black Sports Red. On the other hand, the Pro variant features Rally Edition Graphics, which perfectly align with the spirit of adventure, catering to riders seeking thrilling expeditions.
Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at Hero MotoCorp, expressed the company’s focus on the premium segment with the introduction of the E20 and OBD-II compliant XPulse 200 4V. He highlighted the popularity of the XPulse series among customers in India and globally, particularly among new-age explorers who prioritize eco-friendly choices. The 2023 Hero XPluse 200 4V aims to provide a differentiated experience for riders with significant advancements in performance, connectivity, technology, and styling.
The standout features of the 2023 Hero XPluse 200 4V include its 200cc 4 Valve oil-cooled BS-VI engine, which meets OBD-II and E20 standards. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 18.8 bhp at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 17.35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The motorcycle offers three ABS modes – Road, Off-Road, and Rally – catering to different riding conditions. The Road mode comes with default single-channel ABS, while the Off-Road mode reduces ABS intervention for rocky terrains and roads with loose sand and gravel. The Rally Mode showcases the motorcycle’s prowess in off-road riding.
In terms of design, the 2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V features a taller Rally style windshield of 60mm, a Class-D LED Projector headlamp with LED DRLs, and fully adjustable front suspension of 250mm and rear suspension of 220mm. The LED DRLs on the bike offer an increased light intensity of up to 230 percent. Other notable features include a seat height of 850mm, enhanced ground clearance of 270mm, a handlebar riser, an extended gear lever, and a longer side stand.
