MG Motor India has unveiled a new variant of its popular SUV, the Gloster, called the MG Gloster Blackstorm. This special edition features a sleek black exterior with eye-catching red accents on the front and rear bumpers, ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), side door protectors, headlamps, and brake calipers.
The MG Gloster Blackstorm is available in two models: 2WD and 4WD. The ex-showroom prices for these models are ₹40.30 lakh and ₹43.08 lakh, respectively.
Stepping inside the MG Gloster Blackstorm, one will notice the transformation with an all-black interior layout, replacing the previous tan-colored seats. The seats now feature red stitching, adding a touch of sportiness. The cabin follows a black theme with red accents on the steering wheel, further enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Under the hood, the mechanical features of the SUV remain unchanged. It is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that generates 161bhp and 375Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a twin-turbo version available, delivering an impressive 215bhp and 480Nm of torque. Both engine options are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The MG Gloster offers a host of advanced features, including a 31.2-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with over 75 connected-car features. Users can enjoy live weather updates, control the music system remotely, adjust the ambient lighting, and even operate the air conditioning through the i-Smart 2.0 app. The SUV is also equipped with a high-quality 12-speaker sound system and a panoramic sunroof.
