Kenichi Umeda has been named as the new Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL), according to an official announcement made on Tuesday. Satoshi Uchida, who earlier served full term as the managing director of SMIPL, is succeeded by Umeda.

According to the official statement, Umeda intends to carry on this tradition and give customer-centric solutions top priority as the new Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India.
