Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Alto K10 receive worst safety ratings in Global NCAP crash test
Following the most recent sets of crash tests, Maruti Suzuki WagonR and Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 received one- and two-star safety ratings for adult occupant protection from Global NCAP. Both models received a zero out of ten rating for child occupant safety.
In defence of itself, the company claimed that its automobiles adhere to Indian crash safety standards, which are nearly identical to those in Europe.
Vehicles are given a rating from zero to five by Global NCAP based on their safety features, and those with better ratings are thought to be safer for occupants.
