Mercedes-Benz has launched its first all-electric vehicle from its Maybach ultra-luxury sub-brand, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV (Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680) . The launch of this new car marks the company’s intention to emphasize sales of high-end models. The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV was unveiled at the Shanghai auto show, and it is a revised version of the Mercedes EQS SUV, incorporating more premium materials.

According to Mercedes, about half of all Maybach sales are from China, where the company is increasingly targeting ultra-luxury buyers.
Mercedes CEO Ola Kallenius said in a statement, “We are completely redefining the SUV luxury of the future.”
