Kia launches latest edition of Sonet SUV inspired by aurochs species: Check out key features
Kia India has launched a new variant of the Sonet sub-compact SUV. The Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition has been launched at the starting price of Rs. 11.85 lakh. The car is based on the HTX variant. It offers several updates in terms of design elements as well features on offer. The variant called HTX AE, is more expensive than the HTX variant of SUV, by Rs 40,000.
The car is inspired from the herbivores cattle animal with large horns, aurochs, which is now extinct. The SUV offers features like an Aurochs front face, skid plates at the sides and the rear section which gets Tangerine accents. The car also offers electric sunroof and has crown jewel LED headlamps with heartbeat LED DRLs and heartbeat LED tail lamps. The car is expected to come in four colours – glacier white pearl, gravity grey, aurora black pearl, and sparkling silver.
The SUV will be offered in four trims, which includes G1.0 T-GDi 6iMT, G1.0 T0GDi 7DCT, 1.5L CRDi VGT 6iMT with six speed torque converter and 1.5L CRDi VGT 6AT with a seven speed DCT unit.
The interior of the car has partial leatherette seats with silver stitching in Beige and Black colour them, leatherette wrapped D-cut steering wheel with Sonet logo. The door armrest is also wrapped wit leatherette, inside door handle hyper silver metalllic paint and silver finish AC vents as well.
