For the first time, Formula E racing event to take place in India
Formula E is the top motorsport in the electric vehicle (EV) segment and it is for the first time, that the Formula E event will take place in India.

On Saturday, July 9, the Municipal Department of Hyderabad announced that the city is all set to host the Formula E racing which is scheduled to take place on February 11, 2023.
Formula E is the top motorsport in the electric vehicle (EV) segment. With the rising demand for EVs, an event like Formula E will attract the attention of car enthusiasts. It is for the first time, that the Formula E event will take place in India.

Telangana’s Special Chief Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Mr. Arvind Kumar inspected the race track for Formula E racing. The race track is planned alongside the Hussain Sagar, NTR Park and Lumbini Garden.
As per the official statement from the department, the track for Formula E will be a street race track and will be around 2.5km long.
