Citroen C3 Aircross SUV to revealed in India today

Citroen, the well-known French automaker, is ready to introduce its fourth vehicle in the Indian market called the C3 Aircross SUV, which will be unveiled on April 27th. The compact SUV is designed to compete with the popular Korean models in the same segment. Although the C3 Aircross SUV will share the same platform as the C3 hatchback, it will have some differences compared to the global version bearing the same name. Citroen has released a teaser image of the C3 Aircross SUV, hinting that the Indian version will incorporate some design elements from the European C3 Aircross SUV.
The automaker has recently released a teaser image of the C3 Aircross SUV, providing a glimpse of its headlight unit and LED DRL setup, which seem consistent with the facelifted version of the C5 Aircross SUV. Spy shots of the C3 Aircross SUV reveal some details about its size and features, including a tall stance, high ground clearance, and large wheel arches that may accommodate 17-inch or larger wheels. The interior is expected to be more upscale than the C3, featuring a large touchscreen infotainment display at the center, a digital instrument cluster, and roof-mounted AC vents for the second and third-row passengers.

Rumors suggest that the C3 Aircross SUV will be equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine, available with or without turbocharging. The non-turbocharged variant is projected to deliver around 82 PS of power and 115 Nm of peak torque, while the turbocharged version could produce an additional 30 PS and 70 Nm of torque. The SUV is expected to have a relatively powerful engine that complements its sporty and robust appearance.
The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV is expected to be a tough competitor in the Indian market, offering an appealing package of advanced features, stylish design, and powerful performance. It will be interesting to see how the French automaker fares against established rivals in the crowded Indian SUV segment.
