In terms of features, the Tata Punch is well-equipped with a range of offerings. It boasts a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic air conditioning, rain-sensing wipers, connected car technology, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and cruise control. Safety features include dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a reversing camera, and rear parking sensors, ensuring the well-being of occupants.
Tata Motors is also set to introduce CNG variants of the Punch in the near future. These variants are expected to have a reduced output of 73.5PS of power and 103Nm of torque, coupled with the manual gearbox option.
The Tata Punch is available in four broad variants: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. Additionally, there are several feature packs and special editions on offer to cater to varying customer preferences. The pricing of the Tata Punch ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Competing against rivals such as the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Citroen C3, and the upcoming Hyundai Exter, the Tata Punch has made a significant impact in the micro SUV segment, providing customers with a compelling combination of affordability, features, and style.
The remarkable production milestone of 2 lakh units for the Tata Punch underscores its popularity and acceptance among customers, further solidifying Tata Motors’ position in the competitive SUV market.
