Indian automaker Tata Motors has announced a significant achievement with its popular Harrier SUV crossing the 1 lakh sales milestone. In a Twitter post, the company expressed its joy in reaching this monumental figure since the SUV’s launch in January 2019.

The Tata Harrier SUV is available in a wide range of 19 variants to cater to diverse customer preferences. The base model of the SUV is priced at ₹15 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end variant comes with a price tag of ₹24.07 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with popular models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in the highly competitive SUV segment.
Tata Motors recently introduced an updated version of the Harrier, equipped with Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) and a six-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood, the Harrier is powered by the Kryotec 170 Turbocharged BS6 Phase 2 diesel engine, delivering an impressive performance of around 167 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
The latest model of the Tata Harrier offers customers the option of a six-speed automatic transmission alongside the existing manual gearbox and torque converter. The SUV is available in a range of captivating colors, including Black, Blue, Tropical Mist, Red, White, and Grey.
The new Tata Harrier is packed with advanced safety features, including Forward Collision Warning, Auto Emergency Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Alert, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Rear Collision Warning. With six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and all-wheel disc brakes, the SUV ensures a safe and secure driving experience.
Inside the cabin, the Tata Harrier boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an updated user interface, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 360-degree camera system, and a seven-inch digital instrument console. It also offers a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a panoramic sunroof to enhance comfort and luxury.
