Skoda Launches limited-run Slavia ‘Anniversary Edition’ and Kushaq Lava ‘Blue Edition’ in India with minor enhancements

Skoda has launched two limited-run editions of its midsize sedan Slavia and midsize SUV Kushaq in India. The Slavia Anniversary Edition and Kushaq Lava Blue Edition come with minor cosmetic enhancements that make them stand out from the standard models.

The flagship trim of the midsize sedan, the Slavia Anniversary Edition, sees the return of the 10-inch touchscreen paired with a 380W speaker system, which was discontinued in June 2022. This infotainment system is also available in the Kushaq Anniversary Edition and Kushaq Monte Carlo trims.

Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Skoda has also announced that this engine is now E20 (20 per cent petrol-ethanol blend) compliant, complies with RDE norms, and is up to 5 percent and 7 percent more fuel-efficient in the Slavia and Kushaq, respectively.

The Slavia Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs 17.28 lakh for the manual gearbox version, while the automatic gearbox version costs Rs 18.68 lakh. On the other hand, the Kushaq Lava Blue Edition is priced at Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh for the manual and automatic gearbox-equipped variants, respectively.
