The new Porsche 911 GT3 R will compete in the North American IMSA series and FIA WEC World Endurance Championship.

On Tuesday, August 2, Porsche unveiled its 911 GT3 R at the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps. It is based on the 992-generation of the 911 GT3 R and features a larger engine and has more advanced aerodynamics.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 R will compete in the North American IMSA series and FIA WEC World Endurance Championship. A more professional variant of the GT3 will be introduced in 2024. It has a 4.3-litre water-cooled flat-six engine that produces a power of 585hp.

The Porsche 911 GT3 R has a big and aerodynamic body that gives it a distinct look. It has a tall rear wing that features the exhaust at the centre. This machine is built for gentleman racers and has an interior that gives racing vibes. As per the company, the GT3 R will make its debut at the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps which is scheduled to take place later this year.
