Both versions of the Aera are equipped with a liquid-cooled, 5kWh battery, boasting a claimed real-world range of 125km. The liquid-cooled motor delivers a claimed peak power output of 10.5kW. Weighing approximately 40kg, the battery adds to the overall weight of the Aera, which stands at around 180kg. Notably, the Aera stands out as the first electric bike to feature a 4-speed gearbox, and the company asserts that it can accelerate from 0-60kph in under 6 seconds.

In light of the reduced FAME-II subsidy, the prices of all electric vehicles are expected to rise. However, Matter is offering a limited-time opportunity for customers to secure the Aera at the current price by pre-booking it before June 6.
