Honda to discontinue these 3 cars from April 1 2023
India is all set to introduce Real Driving Emissions, referred as RDE – which will make the emission norms stricter for the new financial year.
Despite the recent updates on cars, the manufacturers will have to face problems as some of the cars will be discontinued as on from today onwards (April 1) these cars will not be listed anymore.
- The WR-V, which was first introduced in 2017, is currently being removed from the market due to new pollution standards. The SUV had two motor choices: a 1.5-liter diesel that generated 100 horsepower and 200 Nm, and a 1.2-liter gasoline engine that created 89 horsepower and 90 Nm.
- After launching the fifth-gen Honda City in Indian market, Honda has finally removed fourth-gen sedan from their rosters.
- Due to poor sales, the , another sJazztablemate of the Honda City, will also be discontinued. A 1.2-liter gasoline engine that generates 89 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque powers the Jazz.
