BMW simplifies 6 Series GT line-up in India with streamlined engine options

BMW has simplified their line-up of the 6 Series GT in India by offering a single variant for both engine options.

To achieve this, the car manufacturer has removed certain variants, including the limited edition 630i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition, the 620d Luxury Line variant, and the 630d M Sport with the larger diesel engine option. The 6 Series GT range now includes only the 630i M Sport, priced at Rs 71.90 lakh, and the 620d M Sport, which costs Rs 73.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

There are now only two engine options available, as the range has been streamlined from three options. The 630i variant features a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 258 hp and 400 Nm, while the 620d variant comes with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 190hp and 400Nm.

Regrettably, the powerful 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that offered 265 hp and 620Nm in the 630d variant is no longer available.
